We have launched our company in 2009 as a result of our creative work and developments.
Founders:
Kata Nyéki-Fazekas: was born in 1977, graduated from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Faculty of Architecture in 2002, then continued her studies as a DLA student. At present she works as an architect and prepares handmade products at home while looking after her two children.
Gábor Nyéki: was born in 1978, graduated from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Faculty of Architecture in 2002, he spent some semesters also in France. At present he works as an architect and graphic designer, he has two children.
Probably many of us have already had the feeling being glad to wear some traditional cloth, shirt, skirt or bag. We might even have got something like that as a present but did not dare to wear it in public, fearing to be labeled or it was just not proper for everyday use.
Our most important aim is to bring back the basic appreciation of folk art – to decorate the everyday articles of our life with motifs rooted in our history presenting both our past and present. Our intention is to rise up again the existing but presently out-of-date, though always surviving wonderful Hungarian folk motifs and create a new trend with the use of them that is fresh, long lasting, high standard and stylish. Accordingly, we try to create contemporary articles for personal use, clothes and accessories, and at the same time we would like to re-attach the motifs crystallized by centuries to the everyday life of Hungarian people.
For our company, continuous testing and improvement of the products is very important both in case a simple child toy and a real baby carrier. We are interested in every feedback since they help us to find the new ways if needed. With development and experiences, we would like to produce better and better products by time and meet the changing demands of our changing times.
We can state that our products are all made of high quality natural fabric (100% cotton or wool). Only the underlining or the belts may contain synthetic fiber, according to the type of the products. We use only first class thread. The quality of the materials and the handmade realization together guarantee the high standard of the products.
Two groups of motifs are adapted to the articles and to the users as well: beside the modern interpretation of Hungarian patterns, we offer our own graphic design for kids. The series of motifs and graphics are continuously growing and we can also prepare customized drawings or graphics too.

The design, graphics and photos, so all visual content of the site is the intellectual products of the artists (Gábor Nyéki and Kata Nyéki-Fazekas) and they are copyrighted. Using them without our permission will have legal consequences!
